Mortise Locks
Mortise locks are considered even more secure than cylindrical locks.  They require a pocket to be cut into the door and consist of a lever mechanism.  They are stronger and more heavy duty than cylindrical locks, making them ideal for use in hospitals and schools.  Additionally, mortise locks are heavy enough to support ornate and solid cast knobs and levers.  They accept a wide variety of cylinders and accessories, allowing for architectural conformity with locks and door hardware already on site.
Within our family of mortise locks we offer Grade 1 security that is complimented by over 13 finishes and more than 45 functions to fit your project.
Common applications for mortise locks include: Interior, Exterior, New Construction and Retrofit.
Mortise locks are most often used in: Institutional, Education, Healthcare,Commercial, Government, Military, and Office environments.
